Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions have been prepared to help you make the most of your practice with Moksha Yoga. Please read through these documents carefully.

Moksha Yoga reserves the right to terminate classes at any point for anyone who fails to comply with these terms and conditions.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

1.1 Before taking part in any class with Moksha Yoga a registration form must be completed.

1.2 Students agree to declare all injuries, illness, pregnancy and medication being taken whilst filling out the registration form. If any of these change (injury, illness, pregnancy or medication) whilst being a student with Moksha Yoga, you will make us aware on your next visit and prior to undertaking any further classes.

1.3 Students are advised not to undertake yoga without first seeking medical advice if they have concerns over their physical condition. ​ This includes those with low/high blood pressure or cardiac irregularities. Moksha Yoga reserves the right to refuse teaching a student if they believe it could be detrimental to their health and safety.

1.4 Students are required to follow the instructions of the teacher at all times.  

1.5 You acknowledge that you are fully aware that the participation in classes involves risks and that you accept all the risks of participating.

1.6 You affirm that you are in proper physical condition to participate in any activity associated with Moksha Yoga and are aware that there are risks in participating in any physical activity, potentially that which could result in injury, serious injury or death.

1.7 You will notify the teacher immediately of any pain or major discomfort felt during class.

1.8 If at any point during the class you feel light headed or dizzy you must take rest. Only you are able to assess how you are feeling during exercise and it is important you monitor this, taking rest and drink when needed.

1.9 Your health is your responsibility and you participate at your own risk.

PAYMENTS AND BOOKINGS

2.1 All classes must be paid for in advance

2.2 Sessions are booked in blocks of 1, 5 or 10 classes. 

2.3 Single session purchases are valid for up to 2 months from the date of purchase. 

2.4 5 and 10 class bundle purchases are valid for 5 and 10 months respectively from the date of purchase, unless otherwise negotiated with the teacher in advance of purchase. 

2.5 Once sessions have started the block payment is non-refundable.

2.6 For all block bookings, a regular time slot will be organised between you and the teacher where possible. If on one week you cannot make that slot, the teacher will do her best to reschedule that week. However there is no guarantee that another slot will be available. 

2.7 24 hrs notice of cancellation is required for all sessions or full payment will be requested and the session cannot be rescheduled or carried over.

2.8 All payments are non-refundable  

2.9 Any classes not taken within the period of validity for the specific bundle may be lost at the teacher’s discretion, although every effort will be made to help make sure you have the flexibility you need to take your sessions in your own time.  

2.10 Class prices can change at any time at Moksha Yoga's discretion. However, we will give you 30 days notice before any changes are made.

Later on: When selling products and have promotions

2.12 When buying products from Moksha Yoga, goods are returnable for refund or exchange 28 days from purchase provided that the goods are returned unopened in the same condition as when they were sold. This does not affect your statutory rights.

2.13 The ‘welcome offer’ can only be used once and only on your first visit to the studio. Once you have paid for your first class the welcome offer is no longer available.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

3.1 Moksha Yoga cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, illness or, in the worst circumstance death as a result of our services provided.

3.2 Without prejudice to the conditions set out in section 1, it is your responsibly to ensure you are in the appropriate physical and mental condition to participate in a class or operate equipment. If in doubt it is your responsibility to ask your teacher for help.

USE OF FACILITIES FOR 16-18 YEAR OLDS

4.1 No person under the age of 18 are permitted to attend classes without a signed parental declaration or being accompanied by an adult.

GENERAL

5.1 Students must notify Moksha Yoga of any changes of address, email address or phone number. If these changes aren’t made Moksha Yoga will presume that all communications have been received.

5.2 Moksha Yoga will communicate by email. By giving us your email you give us consent to communicate with you in this way.

DATA PROTECTION

7.1 Data Protection Act 1998, any of your personal information is your personal property and, as such, we realise this places serious responsibility on us. Any personal information that is given to us will be collected, stored and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7.2 While we take all precautions to ensure your personal information is kept safe we, cannot be held responsible for any unauthorised access.
